Thanksgiving Week ...

Hi Friends!

Another cold day here in the Finger Lakes, but the glorious sun is visiting and the crows are plentiful and cawing their little hearts out...

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~
COTTONS ~ fondled these this morn, wish I had learned how to quilt ~ sigh...
~~~~~~~~~~~~

NEW START... anyone else been itchin to start on some late-ish seasonal stitchin?
Not traditional Christmas colors for sure, the background cotton reminds me of Scandinavian motifs, the Zweigart 32 ct. Dirty is a nice compliment.
Seems like maybe it needs some red, or not ~ I'll see where this takes me today...

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~
 OUR WEEKEND... wanted to share a couple pics of a typical Fall weekend around our house ~ plz meet Mr. Sweet!
He's never been an *office* kind of guy ~ he's most happy at times like this, which makes me happy for him...
A warm and heartfelt welcome to a couple new followers, glad to have you here!
Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving and a lovely holiday week.
Hope we all find a few moments for a some sweet family love, a tasty turkey sammy or two, an extra slice of pie and a few blissful stitches!
Tootles, Sue
  4. I wish I had learned to quilt, too, Sue, but, at this point, I'll sit back and admire others' quilts :)
    Hmmm...what design will adorn your pretty fabric?
    Wishing you a delightful Thanksgiving--please keep that sunshine out for me. We'll be up for a big family dinner on Wed. and Thursday :)
  8. Lovely fabrics! I can't resist buying a little fabric every now and again. Doll sized quilts are about the only ones I've made so far. :) I'm all for an extra slice of pie. :) Wishing you and your family a happy Thanksgiving!
