Hi there! This small French prim piece worked up nice, I especially enjoyed working with the variegated silk. Discovered chart had a missed stitch, fixed and finished it easily last night. Chart called for a charm between the two flowers, but a snowflake worked well too. Will back it (wool or fiddlers), and fill with poly pellets or crushed walnuts (or maybe polyfil for a wee pillow), then find a place for it ~ Oui Oui:)
Materials: Fiddlers cloth 18 ct., Silk floss is Waterlilies by Caron-color Umbria, stitch count 75 x 63.
Thanks for looking, wishing you a sweet summery day.
Tootles, Sue
Hi there sweet friends, nice of you to stop by!
Prim and folkart needlework designs of drab reds, browns, golds and greens are what I fancy.
Let's share stitchin, sewin, nestin, cookin, collectin, prims, critters and a lovin' mishmash of sweet life...
I cannot believe how quickly you stitched that up. I have my new glasses, pair #1 anyway, so now I can take better advantage of all the wonderful freebies you find and the encouragement to get stitchin'!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and nice stitching!
ReplyDeleteWonderful stitching.
ReplyDeleteI hope one day I can get the opportunity to try some silk threads.
I still love that little strawberry. I have some wool roving so I might just have to try and needle felt me one up.
Very nice finish. Love the colors.
