Burning Love...

Hey there sweet friends!  Please let me thank you from my stitchy 'lil heart for keeping in touch, even though I haven't posted more often.  Seems I've had a case of the posting blues, meaning I've been following more than posting.

Punchneedle Class...
Was such fun, 'twas more giggling than punching, that's how I roll!  Here's a shot of the original class design Jacobean Tree of Life, and my tree trunk with a couple inches of what I like to call ~ my poopie loops ~ lol:)

Baking...

RAK'D a couple well deserving local shop owners, their efforts are so much appreciated:)
Choc Chip Banana Breads, cheerfully wrapped to chase away the winter blues...

Jammer Box...

Comes a time when waiting becomes r.i.d.i.c.u.l.o.u.s.  After waiting too long for this to arrive at my local Joann Fabrics, I finally caved and purchased on-line.  Holds a complete set of DMC floss.  Story goes these were made by Plano © to store fishing lures, Matchbox Cars © and then took on the nickname of Jammer Boxes.

Then one day a very brilliant stitcher discovered these slots nicely hold sideways DMC floss cards.  When the manufacturer caught wind of it, they started distributing these boxes as storage solutions.  No more lugging around 3 or 4 floss caddys.  L.O.V.E.
My new DMC floss storage, both sides nice~n~tidy
with cardboard cards and plenty of room to spare

These happen to be on sale at Joann Fabrics (on-line only) for $10.49 plus s/h, not sure when sale ends, might be today,  please don't hesitate if you're at all interested.

Farewell ironing board...

Not having a craft room, like many of you, I simply make do.  I press lots of small fabby cuts when finishing smalls.  Bought this in-store at Joann Fabrics, used 50 off coupon, was still about $21.00 but soooo worth it ~ lightweight, one piece/very thin, portable/carry handle, iron on one side/cut on the other.  L.O.V.E.

Birthday Treat...

Your birthday wishes made my fifty-something fun, THANK YOU!

Tiramisu Cake, my fave ~ snag a piece before it's gone

For You...

I leave you with a treat from The King, something to put a 'lil boogie in the tooshie:)

Tootles, Sue

  3. I like that class piece -- it looks pretty! I don't have a craft room either. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that DD will let me take over her room when she graduates college. But that of course depends on her getting a place of her own..... Yummy looking cake!!
