I just had to delete a bunch of photos from Picasa. I didn't know that blog photos are stored there and there is a limit! Hope you get your problem fixed without too much trouble.
If you can get on my blog, look on the sidebar and contact Homespun Hannah(Danice) and she will help you! She helped me awhile back w/some blog issues and she's very knowledgeable(sp?).
